Bringing It Home

“I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” - Genesis 12:2

In May 2009 we marked two years into our three year campaign period. In the first two years we have successfully completed the "Would Jesus Discriminate" public awareness conversation. We replaced our ancient furnace with an efficient, zoned heating and ventilation system that allows us to heat the parts of the building that are in use, but most of all our congregation has grown in the depth of trust we have placed in God. Stretched further than we knew we could accomplish on our own, we have learned to trust God's infinite goodness to bring to us those resources we need when faced with a challenge. During the last year of "Blessed and Blessing Others" we encourage you to build upon the experiences of the past as we bring this effort to a close. Our goal for the last year is to raise $120,000. This will allow us to retire one of our mortgages and greatly reduce the principle of the second. It will keep our ministry strong for generations to come and keep our building beautiful to serve thousands who still don't know we exist. Our voice and witness is needed more today than ever.

If you are new to All God's Children and didn't participate in the initial "Blessed and Blessing Others" effort, we encourage you to help us "bring it home" now. There is a great deal of information on this website and at church to assist you in getting involved. If you have already completed your pledge but feel you can do something extra, please consider making a new pledge. All it would take is 120 families making "Blessed and Blessing Others" a priority over this next year.
