About : Our Leadership : Rev. Robyn Provis
Rev. Provis is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California and she has recently completed her Doctor of Ministry coursework at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her doctoral thesis re-imagines diversity as incarnational and part of God's purposeful architecture and a means to genuine community. She graduates in May 2010.
Since ordination Rev. Provis has served as the Interim Senior Pastor of MCC Austin at Freedom Oaks in Austin, Texas, the National Media Director for Soulforce and Pastor of Congregational Life at Pike's Peak MCC in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was called to All God's Children MCC in November of 2005, first serving as Pastor of Christian Education before returning (following her interim assignment) to join Rev. Eknes-Tucker in co-leadership.
She continues to give workshops on communication and marketing and is a frequent MCC TAP (training, access, preparation) online instructor. She and her partner Kathy were married in Toronto, Canada and now reside in Richfield. Rev.Provis is a second career clergywoman with over twenty five years experience in marketing, advertising and organizational effectiveness.
